EUPOL Rule of Law (RoL) aims to contribute to effective, credible and sustainable anti-corruption detection and investigative capabilities within the Ministry of Interior and the Office of the Attorney General (AGO). In particular, they aim to enhance the relationship between MoI anti-corruption investigators and the AGO’s anti-corruption prosecutors, and to see a year on year increase on the number of police corruption cases that are forwarded to the AGO for consideration of court proceedings. EUPOL RoL trains and mentors the Anti-Corruption Units which were established at the MoI and the AGO, monitoring the work of these units, their case management and their progress in the fight against corruption. Training is also delivered in the regions.
